Do you want to get rid of your screen flickering issues on Pixio PX247? This article will teach you how to fix your Pixio PX247 Monitor Screen Flickering Issues.
Screen flicker is defined as a series of rapidly changing light patterns on a display device such as a TV or computer monitor. The effect is caused by the rapid switching of the backlight from dark to bright or vice versa. If you experience flickers on your screen, it can cause eye strain and headaches. In severe cases, it can cause psychological problems and even seizures.

  1. Check if your power supply is bad

Try unplugging your computer for about 10 minutes to reset the power supply. Then plug it back in and try again. If it still doesn’t work, then you should consider either getting a new power supply or replacing it. Power supplies are cheap enough these days that you don’t need to buy a whole new computer just for flicker troubles.

  1. Change settings

Click on the Scaling tab and make sure that Auto-Adjust Resolution is not selected.

  1. Reset Display

If nothing else works, you may have to reset your display settings. Go to the same Control Panel and click on System after clicking on Hardware Options. From here choose Display Properties and click on Adjust picture quality. Make sure that the checkbox for Remove checkmarks before adjusting picture quality is unchecked. Press OK at the bottom right corner. Your screen will restart and adjust to your previous settings.

  1. Clean the Screen

Use a lint roller to clean off any excess dirt or residue on the screen. You could even use a damp cloth.

  1. Replace Monitor

If you are having issues with flickering, then you should really look into buying a new monitor. There are many different brands out there, and they vary greatly in size, price, features, and performance. Just search online for what type of monitor you want and compare reviews to find the best option for you.

  1. Update Drivers

Before installing any fresh drivers, make sure that you update your existing ones first. When it asks if you want to download them from the internet, select yes and follow the instructions.
